owl pellet bones

science lab

Above is what you will find at the end of the dissection. These are bones of whatever the owl has first eaten, and then regurgitated. Some classes may ask you to reconstruct the animal and glue all of the bones back into place to take the shape of the prey before it was eaten.

This project will be taking place in a science laboratory where the environment is safe enough to perform such activity and contain a professional that is going to be in charge of the project.
